Samsung NV40 review
Samsung arrives this year with its new conception, the Samsung NV40 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 07/1/08. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 3264 x 2448, 3264 x 2176, 3264 x 1836, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768. The sensor of the NV40 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.33 " and uses a RGB color filter. Samsung included a digital zoom on the NV40 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range is 80 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the NV40 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds.
The movie mode is supported on this camera being a very useful function. The LCD screen of the NV40 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
