Sanyo DSC-MZ1 review
Sanyo impresses with its new camera, the Sanyo DSC-MZ1 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 30/5/01. The Sanyo DSC-MZ1 will be sold at a retail price of 550in North America, a very interesting deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 106 x 41 x 63 mm and has for weight 340 g. The DSC-MZ1 has for maximum resolution 1600 x 1200. It also supports a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sanyo DSC-MZ1 is 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the DSC-MZ1 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.8 " using a RGB color filter.
Sanyo added a digital zoom on its DSC-MZ1 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-MZ1 was set at 16 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The Sanyo DSC-MZ1 includes an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with external storage with Compact Flash Type I or II. The LCD implemented in the DSC-MZ1 diagonally measures 1.8 ". A video output is available making it handy to watch pictures on your television.
