Sony Mavica CD250 review
Sony arrives this year with its new camera, the Sony Mavica CD250 which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 20/2/02. The Sony Mavica CD250 was initially targeted at a retail price of 219in North America, a great price for such a camera. The Mavica CD250 delivers a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Sony Mavica CD250 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The sensor of the Mavica CD250 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " using a RGB color filter.
Sony included a digital zoom on the Mavica CD250 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Mavica CD250 was set at 2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/800 seconds. The Sony Mavica CD250 has an internal storage space of 6 x 8 cm CD-R, 1 x CD-RW and can be extended with external storage by using CD-R, CD-RW (8 cm). The LCD screen available on the Mavica CD250 measures 2.5 ".
A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer. To finish, we believe the Sony Mavica CD250 is a fantastic camera and we greatly encourage our readers to consider this great camera.
