Sony Mavica CD400 review
Sony is back with its new camera, the Sony Mavica CD400 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented on the North American market on the 20/2/02. The Sony Mavica CD400 has been launched at a price of 900in the United States, considered affordable for such a camera. The Mavica CD400 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sony Mavica CD400 is 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the Mavica CD400 is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter.
Sony added a digital zoom on its Mavica CD400 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Mavica CD400 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The Sony Mavica CD400 has an internal memory of 6 x 8 cm CD-R, 1 x CD-RW extendable with external storage with CD-R, CD-RW (8 cm). The LCD screen available on the Mavica CD400 measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television.
