Sony DSC-G1 review
Sony is back with its new model, the Sony DSC-G1 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 08/5/07. The Sony DSC-G1 is sold at a price of 527in North America, a very fair price. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1632 x 1224, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the DSC-G1 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Sony implemented a digital zoom on the DSC-G1 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm.
The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-G1 is 1/4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-G1 has an internal storage space of 2 GB Internal extendable with Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo + Internal. The LCD screen available on the DSC-G1 diagonally measures 3.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
