Sony DSC-H2 review
Sony arrives this year with its new camera, the Sony DSC-H2 which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 25/2/06. The Sony DSC-H2 will be sold for 434in the US, a very fair price. The DSC-H2 has for maximum resolution 2816 x 2112. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Sony DSC-H2 is set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the DSC-H2 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Sony included a digital zoom on the DSC-H2 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-H2 was set at 30 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-H2 has an internal memory of 32 mb extendable with external storage with Memory Stick / Pro + Internal. The LCD screen of the DSC-H2 diagonally measures 2.0 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television.
