Sony DSC-H5 review
Sony strikes back with its new camera, the Sony DSC-H5 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 25/2/06. The Sony DSC-H5 is sold at a price of 499in the US, no bad for all this technology. The DSC-H5 can be set to a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Sony DSC-H5 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 7.1 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the DSC-H5 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter.
Sony included a digital zoom on the DSC-H5 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-H5 is 30 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-H5 includes an internal memory of 32 mb and can be extended with external storage by using Memory Stick / Pro + Internal.
The LCD screen available on the DSC-H5 measures 3.0 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer. To conclude, we truly think the Sony DSC-H5 is a great camera and we would encourage you to consider this great camera.
