Sony DSC-P30 review
Sony launches its new conception, the Sony DSC-P30 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in the US on the 09/2/01. The Sony DSC-P30 was initially targeted at a retail price of 300in North America, a very interesting deal. The DSC-P30 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Sony DSC-P30 is set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 1.2 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DSC-P30 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter.
Sony included a digital zoom on the DSC-P30 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-P30 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/725 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-P30 includes an internal memory of 4 mb extendable with external storage with Memory Stick. The LCD screen of the DSC-P30 measures 1.5 ".
A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB. Briefly, we really believe that the Sony DSC-P30 is a great camera and we recommend our readers to buy this wonderful camera.
