Sony DSC-P31 review
Sony launches its new conception, the Sony DSC-P31 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 20/2/02. The Sony DSC-P31 will be sold for 220in the US, a great price for such a camera. This nice camera measures 106 x 58 x 40 mm and has for weight 231 g. The DSC-P31 delivers a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sony DSC-P31 is 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 1.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DSC-P31 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter.
Sony included a digital zoom on the DSC-P31 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 10 cm. The min. shutter speed of the DSC-P31 was set at 2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-P31 has an internal storage space of 8 mb and can be extended with Memory Stick. The LCD implemented in the DSC-P31 measures 1.6 ".
A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer. To finish, we think the Sony DSC-P31 is a very interesting camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this item.
