Sony DSC-P50 review
Sony is back with its new conception, the Sony DSC-P50 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 09/2/01. The Sony DSC-P50 is sold at a price of 400in the United States, a great price for such a camera. The DSC-P50 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Sony DSC-P50 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the DSC-P50 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter.
Sony included a digital zoom on the DSC-P50 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-P50 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/725 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-P50 has an internal memory of 4 mb and can be extended with external storage by using Memory Stick. The LCD implemented in the DSC-P50 diagonally measures 1.5 ".
