Sony DSC-P73 review
Sony impresses with its new conception, the Sony DSC-P73 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 11/2/04. The Sony DSC-P73 was initially targeted at a retail price of 300in the US, a great deal. This model measures 116 x 56 x 35 mm and has for weight 243 g. The DSC-P73 offers a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sony DSC-P73 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DSC-P73 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter.
Sony implemented a digital zoom on the DSC-P73 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-P73 is 30 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-P73 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb and can be extended with Memory Stick / Pro. The LCD screen available on the DSC-P73 diagonally measures 1.5 ".
