Sony DSC-P7 review
Sony impresses with its new camera, the Sony DSC-P7 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in North America on the 29/5/02. The Sony DSC-P7 has been launched at a price of 500in the United States, a very interesting deal. This model measures 114 x 52 x 38 mm and has for weight 214 g. The DSC-P7 delivers a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Sony DSC-P7 is 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the DSC-P7 is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " with a RGB color filter.
Sony added a digital zoom on its DSC-P7 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-P7 is 2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-P7 includes an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with Memory Stick. The LCD screen available on the DSC-P7 is measuring 1.5 ".
