Sony DSC-P93 review
Sony unveils its new model, the Sony DSC-P93 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented on the North American market on the 11/2/04. The Sony DSC-P93 has been launched at a price of 157in the US, a great deal. This model measures 117 x 54 x 36 mm and is weighting only 236 g. The DSC-P93 delivers a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sony DSC-P93 is set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the DSC-P93 is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Sony included a digital zoom on the DSC-P93 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-P93 is 30 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-P93 includes an internal memory of 32 mb extendable by using Memory Stick / Pro. The LCD screen available on the DSC-P93 is measuring 1.5 ".
A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB. To summarize, we truly think the Sony DSC-P93 is a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to buy this great camera.
