Sony DSC-S600 review
Sony strikes back with its new model, the Sony DSC-S600 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown on the North American market on the 05/1/06. The Sony DSC-S600 will be sold for 184in North America, a great deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 100 x 52 x 37 mm while it weights only 180 g. The DSC-S600 delivers a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1632 x 1224, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Sony DSC-S600 is 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, for a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DSC-S600 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter.
Sony implemented a digital zoom on the DSC-S600 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 12 cm. The min. shutter speed of the DSC-S600 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-S600 has an internal storage space of 32 mb extendable with Memory Stick / Pro + Internal.
The LCD screen of the DSC-S600 measures 2.0 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To summarize, we really believe that the Sony DSC-S600 makes a fantastic camera and we would encourage you to consider this great camera.
