Sony DSC-S700 review
Sony strikes back with its new conception, the Sony DSC-S700 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in the US on the 17/1/07. This nice camera measures 91 x 61 x 27 mm and has for weight 178 g. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1632 x 1224, 64 x 480. The internal sensor on the DSC-S700 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Sony included a digital zoom on the DSC-S700 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 35 cm.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-S700 is 1 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-S700 includes an internal memory of 24 mb and can be extended with Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo + Internal. The LCD screen available on the DSC-S700 diagonally measures 2.4 ". There is also a video out output available letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
