Sony arrives this year with its new model, the Sony DSC-T5 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 01/8/05. The Sony DSC-T5 will be sold at a retail price of 300in the United States, a great deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 94 x 60 x 20 mm and weights 139 g. The DSC-T5 gets a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sony DSC-T5 is set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 5.0 mega pixels.
The sensor of the DSC-T5 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter. Sony added a digital zoom on its DSC-T5 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm.
