Sony DSC-U30 review
Sony launches its new conception, the Sony DSC-U30 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented on the North American market on the 28/5/03. The Sony DSC-U30 will be sold for 200in North America, a great deal. The DSC-U30 gets a maximum resolution of 1632 x 1224. It also supports a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Sony DSC-U30 is 4:3, for a total of 2.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the DSC-U30 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter. Sony implemented a digital zoom on the DSC-U30 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-U30 was set at 1/8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-U30 camera has an internal storage of 8 mb and can be extended with Memory Stick / Pro. The LCD implemented in the DSC-U30 diagonally measures 1.0 ". A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
