Sony DSC-W150 review
Sony impresses with its new camera, the Sony DSC-W150 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 23/1/08. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 3264 x 2176, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 640 x 480. The sensor on the DSC-W150 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Sony implemented a digital zoom on the DSC-W150 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-W150 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1600 seconds.
The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-W150 includes an internal memory of 15 mb and can be extended with external storage by using Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo + Internal. The LCD screen available on the DSC-W150 is measuring 2.7 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
