Sony DSC-W30 review
Sony launches its new conception, the Sony DSC-W30 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 13/2/06. The Sony DSC-W30 will be sold for 222in North America, a very fair price. The DSC-W30 delivers a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 1632 x 1224, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Sony DSC-W30 is 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the DSC-W30 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Sony added a digital zoom on its DSC-W30 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-W30 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-W30 has an internal memory of 32 mb and can be extended with Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo + Internal. The LCD implemented in the DSC-W30 diagonally measures 2.0".
A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To summarize, we truly think the Sony DSC-W30 is a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
