Sony Mavica FD-97 review
Sony launches its new model, the Sony Mavica FD-97 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in North America on the 09/2/01. The Sony Mavica FD-97 was initially targeted at a retail price of 900in the United States, no bad for all this technology. The Mavica FD-97 offers a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Sony Mavica FD-97 is set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the Mavica FD-97 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter.
Sony added a digital zoom on its Mavica FD-97 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 25 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Mavica FD-97 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/500 seconds. The Sony Mavica FD-97 camera has an internal storage of 1.44 mb extendable with external storage with Disk 3.5" (2x speed) or MemoryStick (slot). The LCD screen of the Mavica FD-97 is measuring 2.5 ".
A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. Briefly, we really believe that the Sony Mavica FD-97 is a great camera and we would encourage you to consider this great camera.
